How many laptops can I subscribe to?
Each account can have up to one laptop subscription.
Is there a trial period?
You can try an HP Laptop Subscription for 30 days, risk-free, with no commitments. You can cancel your plan within the first 30 days after signing up and return all products to HP. HP will send an email with instructions and a pre-paid return shipping label. You may use the original packaging to return the product(s), or FedEx will provide return packaging. Non-return fees apply if the product(s) is not returned within 10 days of receiving the return shipping label (non-return fees depend on the product(s) in your subscription).
What if I want to cancel my subscription after the trial period?
If you cancel after the first 30 days but still within the first year, there is a cancellation fee equal to the remaining year’s payments. For example, if you cancel six months after enrollment, your cancellation fee will be equal to six months times your monthly payment.

Your subscription will remain active through your current monthly billing cycle and then will stop. You are required to return all products to HP. HP will send an email with instructions and a pre-paid return shipping label. You may use the original packaging to return the product(s), or FedEx will provide return packaging. Non-return fees apply if the product(s) is not returned within 10 days of receiving the return shipping label (non-return fees depend on the product(s) in your subscription).

What happens to my subscription products if I cancel?
If you cancel, you are required to return all products included in your subscription within 10 days of receiving the return label. Non-return fees apply for any product not returned to HP (non-return fees are based on the products in your subscription).
Can I get the services with the HP laptop I already own?
No. You will receive a new laptop with your subscription.
Is there an option to own the laptop?
No. There is no option to own the laptop you receive as part of your subscription. To purchase HP laptops, you can shop at our HP Store.

Our 24/7 Pro live support team is ready to help you with any issues you might have with your laptop. As long as your HP Laptop Subscription remains active, your laptop is covered. Our HP technicians know the ins and outs of your laptop and can help troubleshoot and repair warranty issues. For any issue that we cannot resolve over the phone, we’ll send you a new laptop the next business day as well as cover any return shipping costs for the laptop.

What is continuous laptop coverage?

If the laptop has an issue, you can call our dedicated support team anytime. If we cannot fix it over the phone, we can ship you a replacement laptop the next business day at no additional cost. It's all included in your subscription.

How do I enroll in an HP Laptop subscription?
To enroll in a subscription, you will select a new laptop, create or sign in to your HP account, and provide billing and shipping information and your first month will be charged to your payment method. After the first 30 days, you will be automatically billed monthly for your subscription. Your subscription details are always available atMyAccount
Why do I need an HP ID to enroll?
An HP ID is required to enroll and allows you to securely manage your subscription and receive the services included in your HP Laptop Subscription.
What type of payment options are available?
You can enroll in a subscription using your debit or credit card.
How does the billing work with the HP Laptop Subscription?
Your first payment is charged when you sign up. Each monthly payment is automatically charged to your payment method. Sign in to MyAccount for all your HP Laptop Subscription information.
How fast can I get the new laptop included in the subscription?
Most laptops are delivered within three business days (if ordered before 2:30 PM Eastern Time M-F). Shipping times may vary.

How were the laptop’s productivity, portability and entertainment features evaluated?
We know that shopping for laptops can be overwhelming, so we have added a scale to make it simple to compare laptops.
Productivity – This includes features such as the processor, memory, and storage. A powerful processor and greater amount of memory and storage space will improve the overall performance of the laptop and provide the speed and storage to run multiple programs, stream, work on large files, and more. If you are looking for a laptop to browse online, watch movies, or manage your household, a less powerful laptop could meet your needs.
Portability – Mainly, the size and weight of the laptop. A smaller size and weight can make it easier to carry your laptop to the office, school, coffee shop, or on an airplane – wherever you need to use it. A larger screen size is great for better viewability of movies, detailed reports, design files, etc., particularly when you do not need to travel with the device.
Entertainment – Speakers, display quality, and brightness features. Displays with higher resolution have more pixels and produce sharper images. If you stream movies or videos often or use design software or apps, these specs could be a key factor when choosing the laptop that is right for you.
Can I enroll in an HP Laptop subscription if I live outside the United States?
Right now, an HP Laptop Subscription is only available in the fifty United States. US territories and other countries are not currently supported.
How many laptop subscriptions can I get?
Currently, the limit is one laptop subscription per account.
What happens after the first 12 months?
After the initial 12 months, you can continue using your current laptop and there is no longer a cancellation fee if you decide to cancel. You also have the option to change or upgrade the laptop at any time after the first 12 months. Simply choose a new laptop, return the old laptop, and your subscription continues uninterrupted at the new monthly price based on the laptop you choose.
What happens to my data when I am finished with my laptop?
HP takes your privacy and data seriously. Our support team will assist you in removing all data prior to you returning the laptop. Additionally, if there happens to be any remaining data after you return, we always securely wipe and destroy the data before repurposing or recycling to help keep you protected.
What happens at the end of my subscription?
You are free to continue your HP Laptop Subscription for as long as you like. When you decide to end your subscription, simply cancel and return all devices included in your subscription. You are required to return all products to HP. HP will send an email with instructions and a pre-paid return shipping label.
